Minimize expression lines and wrinkles, restore volume, or shape facial features with a non-invasive Botox Cosmetic® treatment plan or using Juvederm® fillers.
Reduce excessive sweating through therapeutic botox treatment plans.
Botox works by injecting a very minimal dose of the product into small muscles in the face that cause expression lines or wrinkles. Once treated, the muscles will begin to relax, and you will continue to see improvements that will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
The youthful appearance of healthy skin can largely be attributed to an abundant presence of hyaluronic acid which unfortunately decreases as you age. Juvederm® fillers can be used to provide a non-invasive facial rejuvenation by improving lip definition and shape, correcting wrinkles, restoring volume, and shaping facial features.
Do you have questions about Botox, fillers, therapeutic treatments or the general process? Don’t see the answer to your question? Send an email to email@example.com and I will personally be in touch with an answer.
Botox Cosmetic® is a neuromodulator, which is a product that contains a highly purified, naturally occurring protein called botulinum neuromodulator.
Botox works by injecting a very minimal dose of the product into small muscles in the face that cause expression lines or wrinkles. Once treated, the muscles will begin to relax in about two to three days, and you will continue to see improvements for up to fourteen days.
The effects of Botox will begin to reduce after three to five months meaning you will want to schedule a follow up appointment for an additional injection that will help you maintain your results.
The youthful appearance of healthy skin can largely be attributed to an abundant presence of hyaluronic acid (HA). Unfortunately, ageing decreases the natural levels of this substance which can result in lines, furrows, wrinkles, and loss of volume in the face. Juvederm fillers contain Hyaluronic Gel which can be used to provide a non-surgical facial rejuvenation by improving lip definition and shape, correcting wrinkles, restoring volume, and shaping facial features.
A filler treatment usually takes 30-45 minutes depending on the area that is being treated, however, fillers are often used in combination with other neuromodulators like Botox®, to achieve a better overall effect.
Hyperhidrosis is synonymous with excessive sweating and comes in two forms: Primary (or Focal) Hyperhidrosis and Secondary (or Generalized) Hyperhidrosis.
Primary Hyperhidrosis refers to the localized excessive sweating of the underarms, palms, feet, and/or face. It is caused by a malfunction of the nervous system that over-stimulates sweat glands. This type of hyperhidrosis can be treated through therapeutic botox.
Secondary Hyperhidrosis refers to excessive sweating of the entire body, caused by conditions such as menopause, metabolic disorders, and neurological disorders. This type of hyperhidrosis is not treated through therapeutic botox, but instead through additional medical evaluation and treatments that target the root cause.
BOTOX® is administered in low quantities to the specific area(s) of concern. Injections have been shown to reduce excessive sweating from 80-95% in patients, with results lasting for up to 9 months.
